Annual report on the state of the drugs problem in the European Union
The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) is the central reference point for drug information in the European Union. Established in 1993 and based in Lisbon, its role is to provide objective, reliable and comparable information on drugs and drug addiction within the EU and its member states.
This annual report is based on information provided to the EMCDDA by the EU Member States, candidate countries and Norway in the form of a national report. The report is available online from the website of the EMCDDA: www.emcdda.eu.int. National reports produced by the national focal points of the Reitox network provide a detailed description and analysis of the drugs problem in each country and are also available from this website.
