Lisburn Safer Towns survey, 1994
This survey took place in 1994 among 600 12-20 year olds and was commissioned by the Lisburn Safer Towns Steering Committee.
Main findings
- 27% of respondents said they had taken controlled drugs;
- 9% of respondents reported current use;
- 20% of the sample reported having tried cannabis;
- other popular illicit drugs were found to be LSD, amphetamines and Ecstasy.
